Do I need to pass an exam to get my CT MLO license?

Submit Your Application (Form MU4): Complete and pay for your application through NMLS. This includes authorizing and paying for a criminal background check and a credit report.
Get Sponsored: You must be employed by and sponsored by a state-licensed mortgage company. Your license will not become active until your employer sponsors you through the NMLS.
Can I get an MLO license in Connecticut with a criminal record?
