3. Enter information into all required fields. Provide your full legal name as it appears on your government-issued identification document such as your driver’s license. It is important to enter in the correct information as it cannot be edited later without having to call the NMLS for assistance. When done, hit the Next button at the bottom.
4. Carefully confirm the information you entered is correct and matches your government issued ID. Then hit the confirm button.
5. Your NMLS ID Number and user account have now been created! You will see your NMLS ID Number right on this screen. Copy and paste it somewhere where you will not lose it. Write down this number exactly as it is displayed. Students must enter their unique NMLS ID Number at registration for our online mortgage licensing education course. Separate emails containing your username and password will also be sent from the NMLS to the email you used for registration.
